About This Place

Nestled in the heart of Pennsville, NJ, Silvana’s Italian Cuisine offers an authentic slice of Italy through its exceptional New York-style pizzas and classic Italian fare. This beloved neighborhood gem delights guests with an inviting atmosphere where the warmth of traditional recipes meets attentive, friendly service. Whether you're stopping by for a quick bite or ordering delivery, Silvana’s embodies the comforting flavors and heartfelt hospitality that make Italian dining truly special.

The menu is a celebration of Italian culinary staples, featuring mouthwatering options such as their iconic Margherita and Pepperoni Pizzas, each boasting a perfectly thin, crispy crust that folds with ease and carries a tangy, rich tomato sauce. The Cheese Salad and fresh Focaccia provide excellent starters, while dishes like the flavorful Stromboli and delicately prepared Spinach reflect the kitchen's thoughtful approach to authenticity and freshness. For those craving a little indulgence, the Carrot Cake offers a sweet finish, balancing moist cake with a creamy frosting that lingers delightfully.

One of the standout qualities of Silvana’s is its dedication to inclusivity and accommodating special diets. Katherine Ford, a satisfied customer, praised their gluten-free offerings, highlighting how Silvana’s goes the extra mile by serving gluten-free pizza on a disposable tray with a separately wrapped cutter, making it a safe and enjoyable spot for those with celiac disease. Alongside pizza, the gluten-free gnocchi and ravioli options underscore the kitchen’s versatility and care.

Delivery service at Silvana’s doesn’t sacrifice quality. Marissa Courtney recounted receiving fresh, piping-hot dishes right at her doorstep, from savory Chicken Marsala that was tender and beautifully cooked, to seafood pasta featuring delicate crabmeat paired with perfectly toasted bruschetta. The family-friendly menu also ensures little ones are well catered to—the classic spaghetti and meatballs won her daughter’s heart.

Nicholas W Mott’s experience with their Melanzane Parmigiana and meatball sub perfectly captures the comforting appeal of Silvana’s home-style cooking. The sauce strikes a careful balance—rich enough to satisfy without overwhelming the palate—while the mozzarella’s satisfying stretch and the garlic knots’ crispy yet tender bite prove their kitchen excels in texture and flavor detail.

While Silvana’s focus is Italian cuisine and pizza, it also caters to those looking for a casual, no-fuss experience. Kevin Werner noted the friendly staff and the convenience of bringing your own alcohol, with a nearby liquor store just steps away. The classic club sandwich and the consistently flavorful NY-style pizza make it a go-to for locals seeking quality and comfort. Chris Padden’s visit attested to the great value and well-executed dishes like the customizable carbonara, enhanced with tender chicken, all delivered in a relaxed and inviting setting.

From the first crispy bite of their signature pizza to the last forkful of homemade carrot cake, Silvana’s Italian Cuisine invites you to savor the genuine tastes of Italy right in your neighborhood. Whether dining in or ordering delivery, every meal feels crafted with care, passion, and respect for tradition, making it a must-visit for fans of authentic Italian flavors in Pennsville.

Great pizza, both regular and gluten free. My relative is celiac, and we felt safe there. Silvana’s used a disposable tray and a separately-wrapped disposable pizza cutter. They also had GF gnocchi and ravioli on the menu.

Delivery took a bit but everything was super fresh and hot! I got the chicken Marsala, and I thought it was fantastic given it was from a pizza shop. It could have just used a little more sauce! My husband got the seafood pasta with crabmeat and bruschetta … he said it was really good but the sauce could have used a little more seasoning! Our daughter loved her spaghetti and meatball, and I thought the portion size was large for a kid’s meal. She’ll have lunch for the next day or two. Large portion sizes, hot food, and super tasty. A strong 4! We will definitely order again.

Got the melanzane parmigiana with pasta, a meatball parmigiana sub and a side of garlic knots delivered. The pasta was cooked to perfection. Sauce was good. Not bland but not overpowering. The mozzarella had a good pull and flavor. Garlic knots were excellent. Nice crispy crust and soft on the inside. Came with a side of red sauce. Complimented it. The side of bread that came with the meal was delectable. Whomever the baker is, either in-house or the perveyor. Chefs kiss. So light and fluffy. I haven't eaten the meatball sub yet, that's for lunch tomorrow. Hopefully it's in the same french bread. The eggplant... not thinly sliced. More like a steak. I'm thinking sliced lengthwise. Tasted fruity, like it was stored next to fruit. I am an eggplant parm connoisseur. This was mediocre at best. The pasta again excellent. The sauce good. Cheese good. Eggplant..... meh

Nice little Pizza and more joint. They do not have alcohol, but you can carry in and if you need it, there is a liquor store steps away. The pizza is your classic NY style thin crust. Great warm and tasty cold the next day. I had a club sandwich, which was also tasty. The folks are pleasant and attentive.

Had no idea where to go wanted to try riverview but since not from here didn't realize it burnt down last year. So we were right next to Silvanas and gave it a try. Glad we did. Our waitress was great. Friendly, knowledgeable. We got 15inch pizza and carbonara, did not disappoint at all. I asked for chicken in the carbonara and it made it that much better. Prices are great 2 ppl with drinks $40. I would get off 295 after crossing the bridge to stop here again to eat.
